

Dr Elliott D’Costa graduated with an MBBS from Bond University in 2010 and obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS Orthopaedic Surgery) in 2022.
Following orthopaedic training, Dr D’Costa completed dedicated subspecialty fellowships in hand and upper limb surgery in both New South Wales with Specialty Orthopaedics Upper Limb Surgery in Sydney, and Queensland with Brisbane Hand & Upper Limb in Brisbane.
Dr D’Costa has a particular interest in conditions affecting the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder, including the management of upper limb bone and soft tissue trauma.
He is currently in private practice at Brisbane Private Hospital as part of the Brisbane Hand & Upper Limb Clinic, where he consults and operates privately.
In addition to his private practice, Dr D’Costa is also a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon within the Queensland public hospital system, with appointments at Redland Hospital, The Prince Charles Hospital and Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Outside of medicine, Dr D’Costa is a proud husband and father to three daughters and enjoys spending time with his family. Away from work, he is a keen rugby league fan and enjoys cooking. He values a balanced approach to life and brings the same practical and down-to-earth attitude into his patient care.
